Just ten days after assuming office, President Donald Trump has already signed two proclamations, seven executive orders, and seven presidential memoranda.

Also, his Chief of Staff has signed one document, a regulatory freeze that carries the same weight as a Presidential executive order. It is the most productive use of Presidential powers that has ever been seen in modern times.

The aim has been to roll back the gains made by the Obama administration as well as to fulfill his election pledges. The orders cover a broad range of policies such as national security, immigration, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and regulation.

In national security, Trump directed that the military should prepare for a readiness review of America's Ballistic Missile Defense System.

He ordered for a report which will then be used to 'rebuild' the military.

The banning of refugees from six Muslim-dominated countries is the most controversial to date and even sparked protests. In the education sector, Trump declared January 22 through January 28, 2017, as National School Choice Week. This was aimed at to encourage parents to demand voucher programs and charter schools.

The wall that Trump promised in his election campaigns has been signed as an order as well as detention and deportation of illegal immigrants. He also gave federal agencies 30 days to compile and forward the figures on how much aid they were sent to Mexico.

Governors or heads of federal agencies can now request for infrastructure projects to be labeled high priority, to fast track their implementation.

With the way things are going with the Trump administration, more orders will be coming our way soon.
