Comedian, Eddie Huang, criticized Steve Harvey for emasculating Asian men.

Huang took offense to a segment on The Steve Harvey Show.During the segment, Harvey took aim at a self help book entitled How to Date a White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men. Harvey joked that white women were not attracted to Asian men in general.

"That's one page, too!" joked Harvey. "Excuse me, do you like Asian men? No. Thank you."

Harvey continued to joke that black women were not attracted to Asian men either.

"How to Date a Black Woman: A Practical Guide to Asian Men,"continued Harvey. "Same thing. You like Asian men? I don't even like Chinese food. It don't stay with you no time ... I don't eat what I can't pronounce."

In the New York Times, Huang fired at the stereotyping of Asian men in American media.

"[The comments from Steve Harvey express a] structural emasculation of Asian men in all forms of media," explained Huang. "He speaks openly about issues facing the black community, he is a man of God, and he has a huge platform to speak from. Unfortunately, he's also the type of guy who orders Krug champagne for himself and Cook's for every one else. For his own personal profit, he's willing to perpetuate the emasculation of Asian men regardless of how hypocritical it is. He isn't the only one doing this in 2017, but as I told myself on New Year's, I'm not drinking anymore of this Cook's they're trying to pour, and neither should you.
