"Modern Family" creator Steve Levitan followed in the footsteps of showrunner Seth MacFarlane and filmmaker Judd Apatow by condemning the Fox News, the news division of the company he works for.

"I'm disgusted to work at a company that has anything whatsoever to do with Fox News. This bullshit is the opposite of what #Modern Family stands for," he wrote on Twitter.

"If you're looking to understand what's actually happening in this country, always assume the opposite of whatever they're telling you on the big news stations," MacFarlane said prior.

"In other words, don't think critically, don't consult multiple news sources, and in general, don't use your brain," he continued. "Just blindly obey Fox News. This is fringe shit, and it's business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company."

Apatow, who used to created comedies for 20th Century Fox TV, called on Fox showrunners and actors to boycott the "propaganda arm of this evil administration."

"People don't want to deal with the fact that when you work for any part of Fox you are supporting a family which has made billions lying and manipulating our citizens for their personal financial gain," he said. "Now that includes supporting the kidnapping of children. That's your boss."
